Snickerdoodles
Ingredients:
Dough:
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, at room temperature
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 3/4 cup flour
- 2 tsp cream of tartar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp table salt
Topping:
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Directions:
- Beat 1 cup butter and 1 1/2 cups sugar until creamy. Add 2 eggs and beat until smooth.
- Combine 2 3/4 cup flour, 2 tsp cream of tartar, 1 tsp baking soda, and 1/2 tsp table salt.
- Slowly add dry ingredients to butter mixture, and mix until combined
- Roll into 1 inch diameter balls and coat with the combined cinnamon sugar mixture
- Bake at 350F for 8-10 minutes
